Physical Education is a vital part of your child’s development. Our program at Creaney Primary School lays the foundation for students to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Across the year, students participate in swimming lessons, athletics and various other team and individual sports, working to improve muscular strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and coordination.
In the early years, a strong focus on Fundamental Movement Skills sets students up for safe, successful and satisfying participation in physical activity.
Throughout the year, we utilise many professional coaches to deliver clinics including; Modcrosse, AFL, touch rugby, volleyball and soccer.
Students learn important individual physical skills, develop their athleticism and incorporate these into games. They also learn how to demonstrate sportsmanship during lessons and inter-school competitions.
