CREANEY PRIMARY SCHOOL
At Creaney Primary School, our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach fosters a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Our PBS framework focuses on explicitly teaching and recognising positive behaviours that align with our school-wide behaviour expectations of Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged.

These expectations are outlined in our PBS Matrix, which has been shared with families to ensure consistency between home and school. Each fortnight, we communicate our focus behaviour expectation, strengthening the partnership between the school and the wider community.

Throughout our PBS journey, we have worked collaboratively to build a consistent language and clear expectations across all areas of the school. Students learn what these expectations look like through daily explicit teaching, staff modelling, and opportunities to practise expected behaviours in real contexts. To celebrate positive choices, students are regularly acknowledged through PBS tokens to earn classroom and whole-school rewards, all of which contribute to a supportive and positive school culture.

Our PBS journey continues to grow as we embed these expectations into daily routines, ensuring that Creaney Primary remains a place where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best.
